As people live and work longer across the world, we need healthier societies in which a complex web of stakeholders prevent and manage disease better, deliver improved care and quality of life, in ways that are accessible, affordable and sustainable for all.
Based in Singapore, Kavitha leads the societal aging and health agenda for Marsh McLennan, Insights, under the banner of healthy societies. She explores long-term trends, risks and opportunities in enhancing wellness and addressing illness as populations age and healthcare expenditures soar across the world.
Her areas of interest include health implications of demographic changes, cost and delivery challenges, and intersections with emerging technologies and climate change. She publishes widely, is a frequent participant at conferences, and supports initiatives aimed at improving health awareness, access and outcomes.
Prior to joining MMC, Kavitha was a principal consultant at the Economist Intelligence Unit, where she advised public, private and not-for-profit organizations in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America markets. She has an MBA from INSEAD and a BComp from the National University of Singapore.
