Jeff Alpaugh serves as the US Chief Country Officer for Marsh McLennan, as well as the US and Canada Growth & Industry Practice Leader, and the Global Real Estate & Hospitality Practice Leader for Marsh. He is a member of the US & Canada Executive Committee and is responsible for growth, retention, innovation, client service, and market delivery for Marsh McLennan clients.
With more than 33 years at Marsh, Jeff joined in 1989 as an Account Executive in New York working on large multinational business. Since then, Jeff has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the firm’s New York, Bermuda, Los Angeles, and Boston offices. In 2017, Jeff took on his current role as the Growth & Industry Practice Leader for US and Canada. In this capacity, he leads Sales for North America and is responsible for leading the firm’s 22 industry practices in the retention, growth, development, and execution of Marsh’s industry sales and content strategies. Since assuming this position, Jeff has delivered five consecutive years of record growth in North America.
In 2021, Jeff’s responsibilities were expanded to include Chief Country Officer for Marsh McLennan. In this role, Jeff works closely with the leadership team from Mercer, Oliver Wyman and Guy Carpenter to leverage the Marsh McLennan’s content, capabilities, commercial growth platforms and connections to strengthen to enable long-term revenue growth.
